Welcome Back RDM Students!

We are thrilled to announce that we will be able to safely bring students back on to the new Rancho Del Mar campus on April 26th, per the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH). Please note the change in location, as we are now located in the lower level of the Malaga Cove District Office at 375 Via Almar, Palos Verdes Estates in Rooms D101--D104. Students who drive may park in the lower lot located on the corner of Via Arroyo and Paseo del Mar, just outside of the classrooms.

RDM will return to in-person learning for five-days per week, following the minimum-day schedule below. Students will remain on campus during this time and cannot leave/return. Students will need to bring their own water and a small snack to school daily. Please note that there will be no lunch served (grab and go lunches are still available at PVPHS, PVHS, PVIS, RIS, and MIS) and students will be released daily at 12:10pm. Students must continue to use a laptop, so please plan on bringing your device with you to campus each day.

Ms. Kim Gill, our counselor, will be reaching out to individual families regarding any schedule changes and each students' homeroom location. If at this time your student is not yet comfortable returning to in-person instruction, please alert Ms. Gill immediately at gillk@pvpusd.net, so that we may assist in further developing a remote learning program for your child(ren) until the end of the school year.

Upon entering campus, students must adhere to all Los Angeles County Department of Public Health protocols. When arriving to school, students will need to present an "all clear" green screen for COVID-19 symptoms located on the Beach Cities Health District website HERE. It is expected that students will complete and present this screening daily upon entering the campus. If a child does not have access to a cell phone to share the screen with a staff member, he/she may print their screening from home and share upon arrival. Students must remain six feet apart unless seated at their desk, and facial coverings must remain on at all times (unless eating or drinking). Students must also pack a second mask and may bring their own sanitizer if desired. All classrooms will be sanitized daily, and students will be encouraged to wash their hands frequently while on campus.

Please report any absences to Cathy Fresch at freschc@pvpusd.net or your child's teacher. It is also expected that parents will report any COVID-19 symptoms and follow all LACDPH quarantine protocols. The RDM Family will rely on one another to follow protocols so that we can all remain safe and stay open to serve students and families. Please note that visitors are still not allowed on campus, per LACDPH, at this time.

We will be contacting our seniors regarding graduation shortly. Stay tuned! We can't wait to see you all!
