DIPLOMA - IMPORTANT INFORMATIONRDM

Diploma Information-Check Your Name Spelling

Occasionally when senior students pick up their diploma in June, a student notices his/her name is spelled incorrectly.  The spelling of the names is taken directly from the student's record in Aeries. Please check your student's name in Aeries to confirm that the spelling is correct. The diploma name must match the legal first and last name on file with the PVPUSD.  If either of these are incorrect, please stop by the Rancho del Mar High School office with a copy of your students birth certificate so the permanent records can be updated. After this date, any corrections made will be the student's responsibility, including contacting Herff-Jones directly and paying for any cost incurred. Thank you for taking a moment to double check.

Thursday, June 6, 2023, 10:00am at Rancho del Mar High School

Graduates must report at 9:30am on Thursday 6/6!

Graduation practice and Senior Breakfast is on Wednesday, 6/5 at 10am at Rancho Del Mar High School (Caps & Gowns will be handed out at Graduation practice on Wednesday, 6/5).

Graduates must be wearing appropriate clothes and their cap & gown. Each graduate will be given his/her graduation tassel to affix to the graduation cap. Even though the graduates will be wearing gowns, we do ask that the graduates dress appropriately for the important occasion as follows:

Men:                                                       Women:
Nice shoes (no flip flops)                        Nice shoes (no flip flops)
Dress shirt. A tie looks great!                 Skirt and blouse, dress or appropriate pants (no jeans)
Long pants or slacks (no jeans)             No halter tops or shorts; no bare midriffs

Parents and guests should arrive between 9:30am and 9:45am appropriately dressed for a graduation ceremony. There are no tickets. Seating is on a first come/first served basis. Parking is open parking, also on a first come/first served basis.
Graduation is a ceremony of dignity, and guests are expected to dress and act appropriately. Yells, cheers, horns or other inappropriate noise when a graduate’s name is read drowns out the name of the next graduate. The noise disturbs the ceremony and the next family cannot hear the name of their graduate. You are respectfully requested to not permit your family or guests to distract from a beautiful and meaningful ceremony.
