This is a one-semester course, which introduces students to the subject of psychology, including an overview of major psychological approaches, theories, and concepts. It offers practical applications for students to help them live more satisfying and productive lives. The course contains the following units:

Unit 1: Introducing Psychology (Chapters 1, 2)
Unit 2: The Nervous System, Sensation and Perception (Chapters 3, 4, 5)
Unit 3: Development (Chapters 10, 11, 12)
Unit 4: Learning and Cognition (Chapters 6, 7, 8, 9)
Unit 5: Psychological Health (Chapters 17, 18, 19)
